FILMS BY THEMES 2019 PROGRAM
WORLD STORIES
Launceston Airport takes Tasmanians to the world and brings the world to Tasmania. And that amounted to almost 1.4 million passengers in 2018/19. Not bad for a state of 500,000 population! Launceston Airport also won the Gold Tasmanian Tourism Award in the ‘Specialised Tourism Services’ category for a second consecutive year. BOFA is proud to partner with Launceston Airport as we bring World Stories from 17 countries to our audiences in Launceston and Hobart in 2020.

HONEYLAND
LAUNCESTON | SATURDAY 2 MAY | 11.00AM
Honeyland is a beguilingly lyrical journey through one season in the life of a honey collector from the wild hills of Macedonia. It covers, in intimate detail, the life of Hatidze, an unsophisticated, traditional woman, and her ailing mother, whilst maintaining a respectful distance.
