
Another BOFA Regional Film Festival…
Once again BOFA will partner with the Bay of Fires Winter Arts Festival and White Sands Estate to run BOFA@the Beach on the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend (10 – 13 June) with:
- The Opening Night film (Friday 10th June at 7.30, White Sands Estate and following the launch of the Youth Arts Prize) the delightful Australian family comedy Oddball, with Shane Jacobson playing an eccentric farmer who trains his dog to protect a penguin colony.
- Three Saturday films at White Sands include the Lunchbox, a delicious celebration of romance and food set in Mumbai, in support of the Indulgence Long Lunch
- Four Sunday films include the Australian children’s feature Blinky Bill, Kate Winslet in The Dressmaker and two of the biggest hits from BOFA 2015, Iris and Dare to be Wild.
- And on Monday two fine British films in honour of the Queen’s Birthday- Submarine and Testament to Youth.
