Watch eight Tasmanian film makers pitch their projects to the expert panel and screen industry audience in this interactive session, competing for a $1,000 prize. The panel will include:

TRISH LAKE, Freshwater Pictures, producer of numerous shorts and features, with a successful career of pitching projects and sourcing funding

ALEX SANGSTON, Executive Manager, Screen Tasmania who assesses applications for the development, production and marketing of Tasmanian screen projects

DAMIEN POWER, short and feature film maker, who successfully pitched his feature Killing Ground to German execs at the Busan International Film Festival in 2011

REBECCA THOMSON, Tasmanian film director and winner of the Holding Redlich Pitching Competition (Return airfares to Cannes and $1,500 cash)

In 3 minutes participants will pitch their project using trailer/teaser or in words/ still images. The panel will question and probe the pitcher to uncover the essence and value of the project. The panel will wrap the session with tips on successful pitching. The audience will be able to comment and question.The winner of the $1,000 prize will be announced at the BOFA Devil Awards presentations from 5.30pm in the Festival Lounge.
