The world is closing in on Greta Driscoll. On the cusp of turning fifteen she can’t bear to leave her childhood. She floats in a bubble of loserdom with her only friend Elliott, until her parents throw her a surprise 15th birthday party and she’s flung into a parallel place; a detour into her dark and dangerous subconscious, guiding her towards a core strength that will serve her well as her adult self begins to form. Based on the hit stage play, Girl Asleep is a funny and deeply moving journey into the absurd, hilarious, scary and beautiful mind of a teenager.
