SHORT FILM MASTERCLASS
Most of the world’s greatest film makers got their start making short films. Learn from the experts in this morning master class. The panel includes:
CLAYTON JACOBSON: Sydney-based film maker who has directed feature films (inc. Kenny), TV series and documentaries, winning awards around the world.
DAMIEN POWER: Sydney-based film maker who won the 2012 BOFA Short Film Award and whose first feature, Killing Ground, will be showing at this year’s Festival.
ERIN GOOD: Winner of the 2015 Tasmanian Short Film Awards.
ASTRID COOPER: Experienced Tasmanian actress and film maker.
Each panellist will show one of their own short films and talk about every aspect of making it, followed by comments and discussion from the floor.
Learn the key success factors in making a short film through real examples of short film making, rather than abstract theory.
