ICONS OF TASMANIA
Marions Vineyard is one of Australia’s most visually spectacular vineyards, set on the west bank of the Tamar River.
Marions Vineyard is one of Australia’s most visually spectacular vineyards, set on the west bank of the Tamar River. Established in 1979, it is now home to the second and third generations taking the vineyard and winery to the next level. Marions grows, makes and bottles all of its own wine, with the least human intervention possible, ensuring that the chain from new growth to the final product is exactly as mother nature intended. Since 2018 they have been transitioning the vineyard slowly to organic with biodynamic principles, ensuring the longevity of the land and the vines well into the future. We now have forty plus year old vines producing low yields of the highest intensity and a true reflection of their home. Our site is suited to bigger reds such as Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet Franc as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.
Marion’s is not just a vineyard but an eden of gardens, paths, mini forests, nooks and crannies which deliver you into a world where you can relax and enjoy the views, the wine and the company.
Marions is open for visits seven days a week from 11am.
Come for the wine, stay for the view….and like us, you may never want to leave.
