ICONS OF TASMANIA

Honey Tasmania

Honey Tasmania is a small, family owned and run bee and honey business, with a big heart

Tasmania’s unique and beautiful environment, the incredible honeybee and the superfood that is honey, fuels this family and their mission. The care and respect they show their bees results in a product that proudly reflects nature at its finest. Honey Tasmania’s pure raw honey, made by their millions of bees foraging from the ancient, native flora in the northern forests of the island, has gained a loyal following and is now highly sought after.

The family has seen many changes in their 18 years of building Honey Tasmania, sharing their knowledge and passion, their honey and their shopfront of honey- and bee-related, Tasmanian products (alcohol, crafts, sweets, gifts and more). The time has now come to close the front doors of The Beehive, their current and final retail shop, and move forward into other areas that maintain their desire to educate and share their love of the subject. School visits with bees and bee tourism are a few of the ideas they are pursuing.

The Beehive will be open for business until 31 May, 2021. Online access to their honey and most popular items is now available at www.honeytasmania.com
