AUSTRALIA / 2019
ONLINE FESTIVAL
FRI 1 – SUN 17 MAY 2020
RUNNING TIME: VARIOUS (5-8 minutes each)

Women of the Island tells the untold and inspiring stories of the women who inhabit the island of Tasmania. Each 5-8 minute episode features a different story as diverse, complex and interesting as the women themselves. This is HERstory. They provide a rich snapshot of some of the previously unknown and fascinating women living in Tasmania and ensure female stories are written into our history for future generations.

Enjoying the free online films? REMADE Creatives Online is a Tasmania-wide media streaming club. They need $5,000 to commission 15 artists to each create three videos using smartphones, about the making of their entry into REMADE, a wearable art show using recycled materials. Creative Partnerships Australia’s ACF Boost program matches every donation, small or large, and makes your donation tax deductible (DGR).
