FILMS BY THEMES 2020 PROGRAM
OUR STORIES
In our 10th Anniversary festival we are proud to focus on Our Stories as Tasmanians and Australians. The festival has always been a community-run event and each year our volunteers are the friendly, helpful face of the festival. This year, Our Stories is supported by a proud Tasmanian, who believes in our people, our buildings and our community by valuing the past but welcoming the future.
And BOFA is proud to be a partner in the Great Regional City Challenge that aims to make the Launceston region one of the great regional centres of the world. Voting on the 50 projects submitted is open now for NE Tasmania residents. VOTE NOW

WOMEN OF THE ISLAND
ONLINE FESTIVAL
FRI 1 – SUN 17 MAY 2020
Women of the Island tells the untold and inspiring stories of the women who inhabit the island of Tasmania. Each 5-8 minute episode features a different story as diverse, complex and interesting as the women themselves. This is HERstory. They provide a rich snapshot of some of the previously unknown and fascinating women living in Tasmania and ensure female stories are written into our history for future generations.
