BOFA takes having fun very seriously.

There is  food, wine and friendship every day at the Festival Lounge….. and if you need to take a little R & R away from the festival, Launceston’s restaurants and attractions are a short walk away plus the best of the Tamar Valley Wine Route cellar door  are a short drive away.

Thursday 10th November
Dress up for the red carpet opening night film (TBC) and then party hard at the glamorous after-party with music, drinks and canapes providing a fun start to the films and fun of the next 3 days.

Saturday 12th November
Rub shoulders with the screen industry at play at the BOFA Devil Awards cocktail party celebrating the winners of the three short film competitions and the BOFA Champion awards.

Every day
There are food vans, barristas, wine/beer/cider, bubbles & brioche events, buskers, In Conversation interviews and WiFi Twitter, Instagram and Facebook feed WiFi screenings at the gorgeous BOFA Festival Lounge.

Kids are very special guests at BOFA 2016
The billy-lids will be well catered for as part of FAMILY BOFA . We are organising activities for kids in association with the films, film making classes  – and a free, fun place for the littlies to play under supervision while Mum and Dad have a chance to see a flick or relax with some food and wine
