Celebrate Josef Chromy’s Amazing Life

By May 2, 2022News

Australia’s leading retail drinks and hospitality business, Endeavour Group, last Friday acquired Josef Chromy Wines, one of the most renowned Tasmanian wineries, having produced exceptional, cool climate wines for almost two decades. Awarded One Chef Hat every year since 2017 and a founding member of Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia, Josef Chromy Wines was inducted into the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame in 2016.

Join Josef this Wednesday 4th May for a very special BOFA dinner. A film of his amazing life from refugee fleeing Communist ruled Czechoslovakia to serial entrepreneurial success story in Tasmania will be screened and Josef will speak about his life journey.

Don’t miss this chance to say farewell to Josef and enjoy a lavish dinner of matched local produce and fabulous Chromy wines!

And the Party goes on at Red Carpet Pre-Party and The Kitchen Brigade film

BOFA 2022 is all about celebrating this wonderful region with film, food and fun. Last Friday (29 April) we launched the festival with dancers, dressed up excited patrons and wonderful food and wine.

And we are doing it again this Friday (6 May) with food from around the world – and drinks from around Tasmania. Designed to showcase the multicultural flavours from our very own ethnic food brigade, the Red Carpet Pre-Screening Party will be sure to get you in the mood for this funny and thought-provoking film, The Kitchen Brigade. Starting at 6:30pm and going until just before the film starts at 8:00pm.
